Open House

You're invited to join us for an Open House! Hear from our Head of School, Ashley Harper, and learn what makes Wakefield School an upstanding educational institution for JK-12 students in the Northern Virginia region. Find out more about our admissions process from our Director of Admissions, Elise Scalise. Following the introduction, our student ambassadors will tour you around our grounds where you will gain a deeper understanding of how we cultivate students who excel in academics, athletics, and the arts while instilling a strong foundation of good character and what it takes to be an agent of change in our world. In conclusion, you will have the opportunity to converse with the divisional heads about any questions you might have. Light refreshments will be provided.

Songbird Music Class with Mrs. Putnam

Parents - come participate in a parent-and-me music class with your little one (geared toward ages 2-5). Meet our lower-school music teacher, Mrs. Bess Putnam as you play music together. The class will last about 30-minutes, after which your child(ren) can explore our playground. Light refreshments provided.

Join us for an Open House where visitors are introduced to the student life on our Wakefield campus. Expect to gain a deeper understanding of our academic and extracurricular programming in addition to taking a tour of the school campus hosted by our student ambassadors. You'll be given the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet faculty/staff, and have any questions answered. Light refreshments will be served.
