At Wakefield School, Adele is delighted to bring her passion for the French language to her classroom. Growing up with a French-speaking mother and family from Belgium has instilled in her a love for the French language and the various francophone cultures around the globe. Previously, she served as a French interpreter in medical and educational settings and as a Program Instructor for a civic education program geared toward helping students learn how to become informed and active participants in their democracy.

Adele strongly believes that a successful classroom is one where students feel empowered to learn, to grow, and to affect change in their world. In her downtime, she loves to read and travel. She will never tire of exploring a new city or reading a new mystery!
