Our Programs
The Arts Department at Wakefield School is committed to enriching students’ lives through a dynamic program of comprehensive arts education. The Wakefield School arts faculty aspires to nurture the development of each student’s talents, skills, and knowledge by offering an exciting range of fine and performing arts opportunities and environments.
The Athletics Program teaches teamwork, commitment, accountability, and time management. Generating a sense of community among teammates and the entire school, students are encouraged to support different sports teams, challenged to build new skills, and inspired to value their experiences.
Programs
Wakefield School’s Summer Programs offer students meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and explore beyond the school year. Voted a “Best Camp / Summer Program” by the readers of Northern Virginia Magazine, our offerings are open to both current and non-current students, from age 4 through rising 12th grade.
Programs include on-campus and live virtual options in academic courses for credit, enrichment and bridgework classes, tutoring, and a variety of engaging day camps.
