Transportation

Wakefield School is conveniently located 1/2 mile north of I-66 West, Exit 31 (The Plains). Our students commute from nine surrounding counties, with an average between 25 and 45 minutes.

Wakefield offers bus service to/from Purcellville, Middleburg, Warrenton, Centreville, Leesburg, Piedmont, Haymarket, Gainesville, and Aldie. In addition, there is a late bus for those students on campus for athletics, arts, and other after school activities that departs campus at 5:15 p.m. and goes to Dominion Valley.

Our parent portal makes it easy to identify potential carpool opportunities. Arrangements for carpooling are handled by those interested in riding together.
