Student-Centered
College PRep
The student-centered college counseling and prep program begins in eighth grade and follows each student through to college acceptance. We ask students to evaluate their individual talents, skills, and interests. And we help them stay upbeat and on track as they tackle completing applications, writing personal essays, and ultimately, finding the best college match.
We welcome parental involvement as students prepare for standardized tests, explore career interests, and, as juniors, visit campuses as a group. Our dedicated college counselor sets the itinerary for the junior class college tour, accompanying students to a diverse group of colleges — large and small, urban and rural, prominent and lesser-known.
