As a teacher with experience in both public and independent schools, Keturah knew precisely what she was looking for in an educational community. When she first came to Wakefield as a parent, she discovered a place where the core values perfectly aligned with her teaching philosophy: that all students have the potential to become active, engaged, and self-directed learners. As a proud independent school graduate herself, she is committed to helping every student find their "why" and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Her wide-ranging experience allows her to encourage students to delve deeper by asking, "So what?"—a question that prompts them to make their learning relevant and meaningful.

Having traveled the world as a Marine Corps spouse, she has developed a passion for learning about other cultures and enjoys sharing these adventures with her husband and two boys (Andrew '18 and Joseph '20). In her free time, you can find her cheering at a sports event, enjoying a good book in a cozy nook, cuddling with her dogs, or exploring the outdoors.
