Education
Erin is thrilled to be joining the warm and welcoming community at Wakefield. With five years of experience as a Lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher at George Mason University—where she also earned her Master’s in Education—Erin brings a deep passion for early childhood development and a commitment to nurturing the whole child. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in warmth, acceptance, communication, and empathy. She believes in creating a classroom environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued, and where positive interactions are modeled daily. Her goal is to help students develop both the academic and social-emotional skills they need to thrive as curious, confident, lifelong learners. Outside the classroom, Erin enjoys practicing yoga, hiking in nature, and spending quality time with friends and family—activities that help her stay grounded and bring balance to her life. |
