Shannon has a vast knowledge of child development and experience working with children from birth through adolescence.  Her experience as a Family-Based Therapist allowed her to support children with varying needs in their home, school, and community. She strongly believes in partnering with families and communities to provide the best care and opportunities for students. Her belief in partnerships continued in her role as a Preschool Teacher and Assistant Director. Shannon was born and raised in SE Pennsylvania and lived in Delaware with her husband and children before moving to VA in 2024. She has a great love of the outdoors and the night sky.
