Emily is excited to bring her passion for music education to the Wakefield Community. As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of experience in multidisciplinary Performing Arts and 6 years of experience in music instruction, she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for all styles of music with her students. Over the years, she has found that her own desire to learn multiple instruments has often been echoed in her music students, and she is quick to say, “Yes!” when her students have an interest in learning a second or third instrument. She believes that this curiosity for learning aids her students in becoming well-rounded, experienced, and capable young musicians.

Outside of the classroom, Emily is a music instructor at Contemporary Music Center in Haymarket and performs at local venues. When she is not teaching or performing, Emily enjoys hiking outdoors with her dog, horseback riding, and indulging in her love of reptiles, plants, and terrariums.
