Robyn transitioned to the field of education after spending two decades in business as a financial analyst for several of the area's major government contractors. Before coming to Wakefield School, she was an elementary special education teacher in Prince William country, serving students who live with autism and learning differences. Robyn started her Wakefield career as the Upper School learning support specialist. For the last four years, she has applied her interest in history and civic education as a Middle School social studies teacher. Robyn also uses her background in business to teach personal finance and marketing to Upper School students. Robyn has a son who is a Wakefield alumnus, Grayson (2021), and a son, Bryce, an aspiring collegiate football athlete at Battlefield High School. During her free time, she can be found hanging out in her Winnebago with her husband, George, and hiking with her dog, Daisy.
