Before joining Wakefield in the summer of 2023, Mrs. Owen spent more than 25 years as an independent school educator in Maryland. In her roles as a classroom teacher, administrator, and parent, Kerry finds fulfillment in helping teachers and parents navigate the vast developmental, social, and cognitive spectrums encompassing the learning years of school-aged children and adolescents. Kerry is learning how to adjust to life with two children in college. On the weekends, she can be found reading and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and miniature dachshund.
