Michael Jones has worked in the entertainment and education system for over twenty-five years. His experience includes collaboration with various universities, professional theaters, theme parks, I.A.T.S.E, and theatrical installation groups across the country. Before stepping into a full-time education role and devoting his knowledge and time to teaching and engaging young theater technicians, Michael served as the Scenic Charge for the Washington National Opera, the Paint Shop Manager at Wolftrap Opera, the Technical Director for the 2010 Kennedy Center's National Tour of Nobody's Perfect, and numerous leadership roles within Shenandoah University's Theater and Dance Department. With a passion for theater and a hands-on approach to teaching, Michael strives to introduce students to the world of entertainment with design, technology, and theater culture.
