Biography
Education M.Stat. Master of Statistics, Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta, India Ph. D. in Agriculture Economics, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY MAT in Master of Arts in Teaching, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore Dr. Ranade previously taught Math at Wakefield School from 2005 to 2008. Afterward, he taught Economics, Finance, and Mathematics at Stratford University and the University of Bridgeport. He has also been a faculty member teaching Economics and Finance for the Spring voyages of the Semester at Sea program for 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2023. Before joining Wakefield, Dr. Ranade worked for twenty years at the World Bank in Washington, DC. He is excited to return to Wakefield again as an Upper School teacher.
