Ms. Leggott, a Wakefield alum (2019) and lifer, is returning to home base. As a first-year teacher, she is eager to give back to the Wakefield community that raised her by teaching in the same seventh-grade English classroom she sat in years ago. She is excited to use her deep passion for literature and writing to ignite curiosity and wonder in her seventh graders. Teaching the next generation of Wakefield students in the same environment that fostered her love for the written word is a great and unique honor for Ms. Leggott.

At Wakefield, Ms. Leggott was known for her skills in the English and Art departments, interests that followed her to James Madison University (2023) and beyond her academic years. When she is not teaching, Ms. Leggott can be found traveling, drawing a picture, or curled up reading a book with her beloved cats and dogs in her lap.
